Reporting to: Operations & Procurement Manager
Location: London, Hybrid with 1-2 days WFH post probation

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Operations & Procurement Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise from the pharmaceutical, skincare, and/or cosmetic industry and play a key role in supporting our procurement functions. This position will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient supply of high-quality pharmaceutical products, closely coordinating with the Operations & Procurement Manager and other teams to optimise supply chain operations.
Role Responsibilities:
• Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and enhance supplier On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance to ensure service excellence.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement and achieving commercial goals.
• Demand and Supply Planning: Align supply plans with demand forecasts, raise purchase orders to ensure optimal inventory levels, and minimise stockouts and excess inventory.
• Collaboration with Pharmacy & Warehouse Team: Work closely with the Pharmacy Team to maintain accurate stock records and promptly address any inbound delivery issues.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilise data-driven insights to support operational improvements and optimise supply chain efficiency.
• Logistics Management: Arrange international freight and manage logistics service providers to maintain agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
• Cross-Functional Support: Assist the Operations & Procurement Manager with various departmental activities as needed.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the movement of goods between operational sites, ensuring continuous product availability across Healthxchange’s facilities to meet customer demand.
Role Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain or procurement operations, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sector, including quality control, regulatory compliance, and market trends.
• Procurement Expertise: Proven experience in supplier sourcing, relationship management, and performance reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with a track record of making data-driven decisions.
• Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost management.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
