Reports to: Superintendent Pharmacist
Location: North London DC
Hours p/w: 42.5 hours per week
Shift pattern: 5 days per week, 8.5 hours per day with 30 mins unpaid lunch, scheduled either Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7am and 7pm 
About the role:
We’re looking for a dedicated and proactive Pharmacist to take on the role of Responsible Pharmacist at our brand-new Distribution Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new site and team from day one, supporting operational setup and ensuring the smooth delivery of pharmacy services from the very start. You’ll play a key part in making sure our pharmacy operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all legal and professional standards.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with relevant UK pharmacy regulations set forth by UK Regulatory bodies (GPhC)
- Work closely with the Pharmacy Manager/Head of Operations/Superintendent Pharmacist to deliver KPIs, implement company strategy and monitor performance if the team accordingly.
- Oversee day-to-day pharmacy branch operations including dispensing prescriptions, inventory management, quality control procedures, health & safety and productivity management.
- Supervision of all pharmacy & support staff in the absence of Pharmacy Manager
- Provide training, guidance and support to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for security of the pharmacy including escalations and key holding (following probationary period).
- Responsible for pharmacy inventory control to minimise discrepancies and loss prevention.
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager, Superintendent Pharmacist, Operations Director and Responsible Person to ensure all regulatory risks within the pharmacy environment are identified, managed and removed
- Support recruitment of pharmacy staff including interviews & induction plans.
- Maintain accurate records of pharmacy transactions, prescriptions and regulatory documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Support contingency plans for disaster recovery to ensure continuity of service.
- Ensure daily productivity of sales orders coming through pharmacy branch ensuring customer service expectation levels are maintained continuously.
- Own and report pharmacy KPIs daily to Pharmacy Manager; including but not limited to: Orders Completed, Orders not Completed, Issue Log, Returns, Productivity, Inventory management.
Requirements: 
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or MPharm degree
- Registered UK Pharmacist with valid license to operate
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacy regulations (GPhC)
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software packages
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate leadership capabilities including the ability to mentor, inspire and motivate team members
- Flexible to commute across all Healthxchange facilities
- Flexible to work across the 7am-7pm shifts
